英語で書いたインド滞在日記 その１１

１９９１年１０月から１９９２年３月まで、約５ヶ月間、インドに滞在していた。その時に、英語（英会話）を個人教授で習っていた。その先生は、次の授業の時まで、日記、思ったこと、感じたこと、エッセイなど何でもいいから、英語で書いてくるようにという課題を私に出した。その時の英文である。

１９９１年１２月１４日
I ate lunch at MADHUBAM RESTAURANT. I ordered only one thing because I could not finishe the last time. It cost five rupees. I pay about thirty rupees for lunch in the Ashram. So I felt cheap! Then I dropped into a store and foud very small beans to make Japanese sweet red-bean broth. But Indian red beans were too big to make one. So I bought the very small beans by way of experiment. I will try to make one again before long.
